Wizards & Muggles Gather in Antioch IL on Saturday, June 16, 2018
Wizards, Witches and Muggles alike will gather in Downtown Antioch, IL for their 2nd annual Wizards Weekend Day on Saturday, June 16th, 2018.  Join us to celebrate all things of a magical nature, bring your owl (just kidding), your wand (or smartwand), and dress as the character you most closely relate to. Be ready for Wizard fun all day long! There is plenty of FREE FUN for your family to enjoy this magical day!

Begin your Magical Day by picking up a Marauders Map at the Ministry of Magic Information Booth, complete with schedules and wizard shops, etc. can be found at the Wizards and Muggles Craft Faire, downtown Antioch, intersection of Main and Orchard Streets.

Contests, games, and more magical moments are being conjured at Antioch's Wizards Weekend Day. Be part of this magical world of Harry Potter and all things magical. Antioch will transform itself with the swish of a wand (and the help of magical volunteers) to bring a day of magical fun to all creatures-magical or muggle alike. Wizards and Muggles of all ages will enjoy many magical moments this weekend! For the past year, planning for Wizards Weekend Day has been underway, creating magical moments for all ages. • Kids Hogwarts School of Magic* SOLD OUT--is for children ages 7-12. THERE ARE 120 TICKETS WERE AVAILABLE FOR SALE While at Hogwarts (June 16^th, 10:00-NOON) all students will be sorted (they may dress for their House of choice regardless of sorting). There are only a limited number of students accepted. Magical Classes include Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, plus more magical classes. All students receive keepsake items and are encouraged to bring their (or their parents) smartwands (cell phones) for photos. Hogwarts is only open to students and will be held at the Antioch Public Library in downtown Antioch. Parents can plan to enjoy the Wizard & Muggle Craft Faire nearby while waiting. No refunds. We only had room for 120 students.
• A Wizard Banquet (registration is closed) will be held that night, Saturday, June 16th, 2018 from 6 pm till 9 pm at the Antioch VFW Hall on North Avenue for ages 5 years to 99 years! Wizards, Witches and Muggles (hopefully no Deatheaters) will enjoy a Wizard Dinner, Wizard Photo Ops, a Keepsake Wizards Item and other Magical Fun at the Great Banquet Hall. Only 200 tickets will be sold. Advance registration is required. Adults (13 years+) tickets are $40 pp, Children ages 5-12 tickets are $35, please click the Blue Registration Button for Tickets. No refunds
• Wizard Village Shops are open on Saturday, 10-3 for Magical Fun...bring your SmartWands for Photo Ops! Pick up your Map at the Ministry of Magic Booth to find Wizard Shops! Return your completed for to the Ministry of Magic Booth by 3:30 pm for a chance to win a prize!\aire.
• Magical Attire Contests will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Wizard & Muggle Craft Faire (located in Downtown Antioch). Magical attire is a must. Magical beasts (dogs only) may also dress for a chance to win prizes!  Wizards & Witches of all ages may enter our Magical Costume Contest, no spells may be placed on judges! Sign up at Ministry of Magic Information Booth on Saturday at 2:00 pm to participate.
• Wizard & Muggle Craft Faire will be held in Downtown Antioch. Bring your gold and green to enjoy out of this world creativity from our crafters. Interested in becoming a crafter? • TriWizard Chess-Canceled.
• Scavenger Hunt & Horcruz Search takes place on Saturday, June 16^th, between 10 am and 3 pm. Maps will be available at the Ministry of Magic Information Booth at the Wizard & Muggle Craft Faire. Search through the wizards village and complete your challenges for a chance to win magical prizes. Return your complete entries to the Wizard Info Booth by 3:30 pm on Saturday, June 16^th. Winners will be announced by owl and posted at Wizards Weekend Facebook page.
• Marauder's Maps available at the Ministry of Magic Information Booth.
• Butterbeer, Olivanders, Care of Magical Beasts, Shrieking Shack and other mystical fun.
• Bring your SmartWands (cell phones) for all of your photo ops.

WIZARD CASTING CALL-If you really are Snape at heart, or feel like your Luna personality is the real you, or have an eye that sees all (even behind you)...attend our Wizard Casting Call Audition on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 10 am. Come in character and audition for the opportunity to be our Magical Professor or Death eater at our Hogwarts School of Magic and our Wizards Grand Banquet.  Your performance at these two magical events (both on 6/16/18) will earn you admission! Auditions for all Professors, Deatheaters, and Characters.  No Magical Beasts allowed. Adults only.
