Antioch IDOL Winner Announced!
Location
Antioch IDOL takes place at Antioch's Taste of Summer Festival (July 18-21, 2013) at Antioch's Bandshell in Downtown Antioch.
Advance Registration is strongly recommended (limited to the first 300 registrants). Online Registration will be available online 03/01/2013-07/12/2013 .
If all 300 spots are not filled, registration will be available onsite at the Taste of Summer on Thursday, July 18th at 2 pm.
Fees/Admission
Registration is $20. $3,500 in Scholarship Dollars will be awarded. This competition is for vocally talented students wanting to further their education in ANY field.
(Online Registration opens 03/01/13 and closes 7/10/13. If additional spots are available after 7/10/13, that news will be posted on this site.)
Relatives of the Antioch Chamber Board of Directors and Chamber Employees are not eligible to compete.

IDOL UPDATE:
On Friday, 7/19/13 all registered IDOL Contestants will perform at the Antioch Bandshell at 2 pm. Friday evening the 20 Semi-Finalists will be posted on this site.
On Saturday, 7/20/13 all 20 Semi-Finalists will perform at 4 pm at the Antioch Bandshell with Live Band Karaoke and the Top Ten Finalists will be announced.
On Saturday, 7/20/13 the Top Ten IDOL Finalists will perform at 6 pm at the Antioch Bandshell with Live Band Karaoke. The Top 3 Contestants will be announced.
On Saturday, 7/20/13, the Top 3 IDOLS will perform at 9 pm with Modern Day Romeos. The Winner will be announced.
The Antioch Chamber is hosting an Antioch IDOL for Scholarship Competition at Antioch’s Taste of Summer. This is a great opportunity for vocally talented students to win scholarships. $3,500 in Scholarships will be awarded. Auditions are limited to the first 300 students who register. Advance registration is available by clicking the "Register Online" button below through July 12, 2013.

During registration, you will provide a digital signature for both items. Registration is entirely online.
IDOL Contestants will each perform one 60 second vocal accapella of their choice. Plus Contestants should review the song lists for Live Band Karaoke and Modern Day Romeo and prepare a song from each. These would be performed if the Contestant moves into the 20 Semi-Finalists, the Top Ten Finalists, and the Top 3 Finalists. Plus all Contestants making the Top Ten will perform Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock n Roll" together as a group with Live Band Karaoke on Saturday, 7/20.
