Maintain, modify, and repair machinery and equipment as schedule requires or as directed by team lead.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
A. Maintain machinery, equipment, and fixtures
B. Review maintenance / repair schedule to determine material requirements
C. Operate maintenance equipment, machines, and tools
D. Maintains open communication with team lead to ensure project schedules are met
E. Complies with and enforces all company policies and procedures
F. Ensures consistent and maximum throughput while maintaining quality
G. Ensures that product loss and scrap are kept to a minimum
H. Notifies team lead of supply inventories and material needs
I. Keeps plant fabrication/tool area in ‘tour-ready’ condition at all times
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
A. Manufacturing and building systems, machines, and equipment
B. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as: drawings, prints, diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
C. Mechanical and electrical systems
A. Maintenance Tools – Including but not limited to welder, mill, press, shear, drills, lathe, and hand tools.
B. Use of measuring devices such as: caliper and micrometer.
C. Operating a fork lift.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
4-8 years of experience in building and equipment maintenance; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
